Description:

The chip inductor is an electromagnetic induction element wound with insulated wires. It is a commonly used inductive component. Any current in the circuit of the chip inductor generates a magnetic field that acts on the circuit.
When the current through the chip inductor changes, the DC voltage potential generated in the chip inductor will prevent the current from changing. When the current through the inductor increases, the self-induced electromotive force generated by the inductor coil and the current when passing through the inductor coil decrease, the self-induced electromotive force is the same as the current direction, preventing the current from decreasing, and releasing the stored energy to The compensation current is reduced. The flow direction is opposite, blocking the increase of current, and converting a part of the electric energy into a magnetic field can be stored in the inductor; therefore, after the inductance filtering, not only the load current and the voltage pulsation are reduced, the waveform becomes smooth, and the rectifier diode is turned on. Shielded chip inductors are not the same as general chip inductors. The general chip inductors are not shielded in the circuit. The inductors in the circuit do not have the desired effect, and the shield chip inductors can be shielded. The instability of the current in some circuits plays a good role in blocking. The metal shield of the shielded inductor is surrounded by a positive conductor, and the negative charge of the charged conductor is induced on the inside of the shield. The positive charge with the same amount as the charged conductor appears on the outside. If the metal shield is grounded, the positive external charge will flow into the earth, and there will be no electric field on the outside, that is, the electric field with the positive conductor will be shielded in the metal shield.
The shielded inductor also acts as a coupling in the circuit. The shielded chip inductor reduces the coupling interference voltage of the alternating electric field to the sensitive circuit. The inductor can provide a conductive metal shield between the interference source and the sensitive circuit. The metal shield is grounded. The coupling interference voltage of the alternating electric field to the sensitive circuit depends on the product of the alternating electric field voltage, the coupling capacitance and the grounding resistance of the metal shield. As long as the metal shield is managed to be well grounded, the coupling interference voltage of the alternating electric field to the sensitive circuit can be made small. The electric field shielding is mainly reflective, so the thickness of the shielding body does not have to be too large, and the structural strength is the main consideration.
